Sunday afternoon in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. I’m out in the neighborhood where we are finishing a month-long Airbnb stay.
It’s nice to be out and about again after two weeks in bed with dengue fever. Thankfully, I feel about 95% recovered.
To celebrate – a tour of our under-$20-per-day rental apartment. My personal ‘den of dengue’.
Of course, extra special thanks are due to our host, Shailaza Singh and her wonderful family, who in addition to providing the very comfortable accommodation, helped arrange medical testing and care and provided elixirs, guidance, and support for my wife Ellen throughout this frightening time.
Finally, as always, kisses to my incredible wife for her weeks of research and care and cooking to keep me nourished and hydrated and able to fight off this very nasty virus.
