What’s our top piece of advice for novice world travelers? What got us hooked on traveling? What was our favorite vacation before early retirement?
These are some of the different questions we answered for an article by Travel Awaits.
We normally answer reader questions on topics like what do we do about health care? How much do eyeglasses or dentist visits cost overseas? Or, what is the best neighborhood to stay in a certain city? We love getting email questions from readers! (Send your questions here.)
The question list by Travel Awaits was different because it asked us some inspiration-based questions, and prompts about specific experiences.
One example question: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to travelers your age?
Answer: Your health is not guaranteed. We would advise people of any age to get into shape. World travel will be less enjoyable if you are obese, rely on medication, or need frequent medical care.
