It could be the best deal in East Asia!
Our current Airbnb rental in Busan, S. Korea is definitely one of our best housing bargains ever. And nowhere else in Japan, South Korea, or Taiwan will we pay anything near $25 per night.

The apartment is in a bustling part of massive Busan (city population: 3.5 million). We are just one block away from the central train station which connects to the local subway and bus system and international port.
We arrived in Busan on a ferry from Fukuoka, Japan. It was an easy 10-minute walk from Korean immigration to our doorstep – even with luggage. And we’re now lovin’ the location and convenience of our little unit.
Surrounding us is anything a visitor could want. As my wife previously reported, Busan has ‘everything’. Of course, restaurants and cafés and retail shops of every kind – just like all big cities. But also incredible nature: mountains, parks, beaches, vistas, seaside promenades, hiking trails, observation decks. Plus it’s all easily accessible via public transit. Wow! Busan!
To be sure, our rental space is compact — though larger than most of our recent stays in Japan. Moreover, while studio units are very common throughout East Asia, the prices are often anything but small.

Not surprisingly, our Busan place appears to be heavily booked in upcoming months. FYI, the host does require a minimum of 22 consecutive nights stay. No problem for slow travelers like us. We highly recommend.
As always, be thankful and generous, happy trails & more beer.
